Charles Rogers, President of the IPIA and Managing Director, Portland Media

Charles Rogers is President of the IPIA and Managing Director of Portland Media. He is a strong advocate for the industry, a long standing print business owner and a believer in the craft, creativity and the community in print.

He has served as an IPIA Council Member, Vice Chair and Chair of the IPIA over the last decade and has represented the sector to the highest levels of Government. Having begun his career as an apprentice and enrolling at the London College of Printing in 1997, before moving up the ranks firstly in reprographics, he founded his first successful business in 1990 – later diversifying into digital print production in 2001.

In 2003 he founded Portland Media, which caters for everything from design and consultancy services and in 2004 added a full print management service.
